General Meetings

Our general meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month, beginning at 7:00 p.m. Our meetings may feature an informative speaker, a craft project or a social meal. We welcome moms, dads, parenting partners, and babies to our meetings.

Monthly Newsletter

Our award-winning monthly newsletter features a schedule of events, membership news, club business and other articles of interest to parents of multiples.

Socials and Special Events

We sponsor several annual events for our members and their children, including an Easter Egg hunt, a children’s Holiday Party, and a Family Picnic. The moms celebrate Mother’s Day with an evening out, have a special MoM’s Holiday Party, and schedule several other outings during the year, just for themselves. The dads can enjoy an occasional night out with “just the boys ,“ a recently added event that has become quite popular.

Online Support

We utilize Big Tent, an online forum that provides club members with 24-hour access to club news, an event calendar, targeted email chat groups, and a member-only marketplace where gently used items can be bought and sold.

Helping Hand

Our programs include Meals for MOMs, a Big Sister Support Program, a Preemie Clothing Closet, and supplies for needy families. We also maintain a resource list of members with experience who can answer questions on specific topics such as premature labor, breastfeeding, siblings, childcare, toilet training, etc.

Fundraisers

There is a small annual fee to join the club. In addition, we raise money by selling multiples related goods and by various activities, to subsidize our holiday events, speakers, and outreach program. A confidential scholarship program is available to families with multiples who may not have the finances for dues.

Sign-Up

You can sign-up as a prospective member and receive SCMOM correspondence (including the newsletter and event reminders) for three months. To continue as part of the club, you will need to pay membership dues sometime during the first three months (you will receive a reminder). Sign-up here (no obligation).

Other Affiliations

Our club is a member of the Northern California Association of Mothers of Twins Clubs (NCA). NCA hosts two state-wide functions per year, and several of our members usually attend. Our club is also a member of the National Organization of Mothers of Twins Clubs, Inc. (NOMOTC). NOMOTC holds an annual convention during
the last week of July in a different U.S. city each year. Several of our members have attended the National Convention in the past. As a benefit of SCMoM membership, you will receive NOMOTC’s publication, Notebook, six times per year.
